Swiss Chalet make it right
Last week after having a meal at the Swiss Chalet in Chatham Ontario in which the Ribs were tough on the outside and fatty on the inside and rather stringy Roasted Chicken, I voiced my displeasure on twitter.
To which with in hours a Rep from Swiss Chalet sent me a tweet with a link to their website and asking me to tell them about it.
Being in business myself, and having served customers for over 30 years in the Graphic Arts Trade, I know that most customers will never complain rather instead they just do not return, and or will tell there friends.
Well with the prompting I went to the website and let them know about the sub par meal that I had received.
In today’s mail I was surprised to get a letter from Guest Services in Winnipeg, Manitoba in which they apologized for the unpleasant experience and asked that I give them another opportunity to show me that they do have good food by giving me a $25.00 gift card to use at any of their restaurants.
This was a nice thing for them to do, and I will give them a second chance.
Now I have been to Swiss Chalet a large number of times over the years and most of the time it has been pleasant. When I do use this gift card I will take some pictures and report back to you all in a future post.
The Gift Card that they gave me could be used at any Harvey’s Montana’s, Milesones or Kelsey’s Restaurant, but I will use it at Swiss Chalet, it just seems like the right thing to do.
