I was born Sept. 18th 1960 in Milton, Ontario Canada, strangely enough my Mom and Dad were my parents, which came to Canada in 1954 from Germany along with my sister.

I spent the first 15 years of my life there and then moved to Mississauga (Canada’s answer to Mississippi)
Since 1977 I have been in the Graphic Arts trade working as a Printing Pressman, Bindery & Fine Paper Sales.
Along the way I owned my own Printing business in the 1980′s and then worked for 15 years for Unisource a large paper company, but after they downsized I had to move on so I opened my own business Oshawa Laser Supply, selling Fine paper to the Printing industry and also selling Computers, Printers and all of the supplies that go with it.

In 2003 I started playing an on-line soccer management game called http://hattrick.org/ and I still play it to this day, I would never of thought that a game could keep my interest this long but it has for a couple of reasons.
First of all the game is fun, you need a long term plan to build a soccer team and watch the team improve every week using your skills as a manager. but also because of my Graphic Arts background I started to design logos for over 700 of the teams that play hattrick (There are almost 1 million users playing the game world wide) you can see some of my design work here. http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f245/oshawalogo/
If you have been reading my Blog Views, News & BBQ’s you then know another passion of mine is BBQ! I am only a Back Yard Cook but I have learned that is a lot more to BBQ than just grilling Steaks, Burgers and Dogs. Everything used to be grilled on high, but now I have found out about Low & Slow Indirect cooking.
I have made a lot of friends through twitter in the BBQ/Foodie community and I am thrilled that I can call them friends, a truly caring group of people.
My hobby at the moment is writing, as I guess you can figure out since your reading all of this, who knows where that will lead me but it is very fulfilling and relieves the stress of day to day life.
